Warner Bros. Introduces DC Entertainment

After years of working with DC Comics, Warner Bros. had finally decided to unify DC Comics' relationship with Warner Bros. by creating DC Entertainment.

According to Variety, with this new arrangement, DC Entertainment will now be run by Warner Bros. vet Diane Nelson, famous for the Harry Potter movie fame and Warner Premiere, which produces original direct-to-DVD pics, including several based on DC's more iconic heroes.

Disney is Buying Marvel Comics and its Characters

Yes, its THE WALT DISNEY CO., creator of such box office animated movies of all time like Lion King, Toy Story, Wall-E and the recently box office hit UP is reported to buy the Comic book company Marvel Comics, creators of such comic characters like Spider-man, X-men, Fantastic Four and the Avengers.

The Surrogates Coming Soon in Cinemas

I haven't read the comic book "The Surrogates" but there is a coming film adaptation of the said comic book to be released by Touchstone Pictures and Disney Pictures. The movie will be Directed by Jonathan Mostow (“Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines”) and will be starred by Bruce Willies (Die Hard 4.0).
